Under Eye Injectable Treatments

skin booster Nucleofill sunekos Cheshire

The following treatments all stimulate collagen in the skin to improve skin texture and elasticity; they can also improve dark circles and hollows.

Polynucleotide Treatments

Polynucleotide treatments ( PN) are now the most popular under-eye treatment available. They provide more subtle and natural results compared to tear trough fillers, which can sometimes lead to overfilling or an unnatural appearance. By enhancing the body’s natural collagen production, PN treatments can yield more subtle and gradual improvements that blend seamlessly with the surrounding skin. A range of Polynucleotide treatments are available, some of which are specifically for the eye area.

nucleofill CheshireNucleofill Soft Eyes treatment has been around since 2021 in the UK.

Active ingredients: Polynucleotides ( the building blocks of DNA).

Nucleofill under-eye treatment is an alternative to tear trough filler to help under-eye volume loss; it also decreases lower eyelid puffiness, fine lines and wrinkles.

💉💉  It involves multiple injections into the skin with a needle or cannula.

Side effects include bruising and swelling, which usually go after a few days.

The treatment stimulates fibroblasts to create collagen and elastin; it also stimulates hydration and also has an antioxidant effect.

Most people require three treatments two weeks apart.

To maintain results, you will need another single treatment every three to six months. (Frequency depends on your response to treatment.)

This treatment is performed by Dr Kyra Drinnan and Aesthetic Nurse Moira Grobicki.

Plinest Eye polynucleotide treatment Cheshire Lasers Middlewich

Made from Polynucleotides.

Shown to improve skin quality, restore radiance and freshness, promote bio-regeneration, and reduce wrinkles and skin laxity.

Most people require three to four treatments two to three weeks apart.

You will need another treatment every three to six months to maintain results. (Frequency depends on your response to treatment.)

Dr Teri Johnson performs this treatment.

Light Eyes Ultra

light eyes ultra CheshireLight Eyes Ultra has been around in the UK since 2020.

It contains a cocktail of hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, and botanical extracts formulated for the delicate eye area.

💉💉   The treatment involves multiple injections with a very fine needle tip.

Side effects include minimal swelling, redness and bruising, which usually subside over a few days.

It helps to brighten, firm, and refresh the area around the eyes.

This treatment is most suited for under-eye dark circles.

Most people require four treatments, two weeks apart.

This treatment is performed by Aesthetic Nurse Moira Grobicki and Dr Kyra Drinnan.

Sunekos

sunekos CheshireSunekos has been around since 2020.

Active ingredients:  Hyaluronic acid and Amino Acids.

💉💉💉💉It involves multiple injection points.

It involves injecting two different products; one is for deep hydration, and the other goes more superficially into the skin.

Sunekos stimulates the fibroblasts in the skin to produce collagen and elastin.

It is particularly effective in the Periocular eye area to reduce fine lines, dark circles and bags.

Most people require four treatments, 7-12 days apart.

You will require a maintenance treatment every 3-6 months to maintain results.

Sunekos is performed by Aesthetic Nurse Moira Grobicki.

Tear Trough Fillers

Tear Trough rejuvenation is a non-surgical aesthetic treatment using Dermal Fillers.

The Dermal Filler contains hyaluronic acid.

💉💉The treatment involves a sequence of injections with a needle or a cannula. Injections are generally deep on the bone at the base of the tear trough to lift the soft tissue and skin under the eye area.

The recovery time is quick, but patients can expect mild swelling for a few days to a few weeks.
Mild bruising is common after filler treatment of the tear trough.

For best results, you may require two or possibly three gentle, subtle treatments to improve the area slowly. This will reduce the risk of a puffy, overfilled appearance commonly seen with tear trough fillers.

Tear trough fillers are a high-risk procedure, and many people are not suitable for this treatment.

A consultation with one of our medical team is important before considering this treatment. Find out more about tear trough fillers here.

This treatment is performed by Dr Kyra Drinnan, Dr Teri Johnson and Aesthetic Nurse Moira Grobicki.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

PRP is a natural skin rejuvenating treatment using platelets from your blood.

When activated, platelets secrete and release at least seven different growth factors, which enhance the natural healing processes.

💉💉💉The treatment involves multiple injections with a fine needle.

PRP can treat all the layers of the skin, superficial and deep.

The treatment works well under the eyes; it stimulates collagen growth, improves the blood supply to the tissues and can greatly improve skin tone and texture. It also reduces fine lines and wrinkles.

Most people require three or four treatments, one month apart.

Aesthetic Nurse Moira Grobicki performs PRP.

Scalp Micropigmentation

Helena Fryer performs Scalp Micropigmentation at Cheshire Lasers

What is Scalp Micropigmentation?

Scalp Micropigmentation is also known as “SMP”, “Medical Scalp Tattoo” or “Medical Hairline Tattoo”. It is a non-surgical, cosmetic solution for males and females who suffer from hair loss and thinning hair. It creates the illusion of real hair.

Using the most advanced precision machine and medical-grade ink, this treatment places small dots into the dermal layer of the skin on your scalp (just beneath the surface).

This procedure can be used to create new hairlines, fill in thinning areas of stubble, cover areas of Alopecia, camouflage scaring from hair transplants and add density to thinning, longer hair.

If your hair loss or thinning hair makes you feel self-conscious, then Scalp Micropigmentation will offer you instant, natural-looking and truly life-changing results.

Do you have Hair Transplant Scars?

Scalp Micropigmentation can camouflage your scars from FUT and FUE hair transplants. This non-surgical treatment makes them appear less visible to the eye. Medical-grade ink replicates your natural hair follicles and gives the illusion of real hair. It is an excellent solution for males and females, offering instant, natural looking and genuinely life-changing results.

Frequently Asked Questions

Deciding to have Scalp Micropigmentation / Medical Scalp Tattoo treatment can be very difficult, and you will undoubtedly have many unanswered questions. Below are some answers to the most frequently asked questions.

How does it work?

The pigment shade is matched to the colour of your natural stubble or hair. Over 3 – 4 sessions, layers of the medical tattoo pigment are built up in the scalp to create the coverage and density you desire. You will need to wait at least two weeks between each session.

How long will my Results last?

The pigment will last for 3 – 5 years. This will vary from person to person and depends on various personal and environmental factors. We recommend a top-up every 12 – 18 months to help keep the pigment intensity.

What Pigments do you use?

Helena uses medical-grade pigments which contain only natural ingredients. The pigment inserted into the scalp dont contain heavy metals like tattoo inks; therefore, it will never change its colour and will only fade gradually lighter over time.

What colours are your pigments?

There are ten shades of pigment, ranging from Light Grey to Black. For the best results, clients’ hair colour must be Light Grey to Black or Dark Brown.

Is Scalp Micropigmentation painful?

The majority of clients find the treatment bearable and feel minimal discomfort.
But if the procedure does become too uncomfortable, then an anaesthetic numbing can help reduce the discomfort. You can also take x2 Paracetamol or Ibuprofen 1 hour before your treatment.

Will my head be red after my treatment?

Your head will be red after each session, and this will settle down within 2 – 3 days. The degree of visible redness will depend on your skin’s sensitivity and colour. You should not be in any discomfort after the treatment has finished.

What makes a good result?

Scalp Micropigmentation creates a natural and realistic illusion of hair follicles. Your hairline will be soft, and feathered and complement the angles of your facial features. The layers of dots will work together to give a 3D illusion.

Will my Scalp Micropigmentation be noticeable?

The beauty of scalp micropigmentation is that it gives you instant and natural looking results. You will be amazed by how the majority of your close friends and family will not notice that you have had the treatment done. If you decide to tell them, they will be overwhelmed at how natural and realistic your results are.

Who cannot have Scalp Micropigmentation done?

Unfortunately, you cannot have this treatment done if you suffer from; Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Keloid or Hypertrophic scars, TB, Tumours, Growths, Cysts, Alcohol or Drug Addiction, HIV Positive, are pregnant, nursing, or undergoing Chemotherapy or Radiotherapy.

What Guarantee do you offer?

Helena offers a six months guarantee. If any fading occurs during the first 6 months after your treatment, she will top up that area for you free of charge.

Eyebrow Microblading

microblading cheshire

Helena Fryer performs Microblading at Cheshire Lasers.

Microblading is a form of cosmetic tattooing. A microblade is used to place pigment into the skin by hand, to create the look of natural fuller brows.

What is the difference between Microblading and Tattooing?

Traditional tattooing uses needles on a rotary/coil machine to push ink 7 layers deep into the skin.

Microblading uses a manual blade and only targets the top 3 layers of skin. Because the pigment sits so superficially in the skin the strokes are sharp, crisp, and they mimic the look of real hair! This form of tattooing is the newest trend in Semi-Permanent Makeup.

The device or “blade” used for Microblading is not a scalpel or a cutting tool.  The device is made up of a group of microneedles fixed to a handle. It is configured to allows the technician to manually create lines that resemble eyebrow hairs.

Helena Fryer has been performing Microblading at Cheshire Lasers since 2016. She has received excellent feedback from her clients about all her treatments.
